Yoga combines both breathing, meditation, and stretching to enhance health and happiness. Apart from its physical benefits, such as improved flexibility, strength, and posture, yoga is also beneficial for one’s wellbeing by allowing for better concentration, mental clarity, and more positive outlooks on life. It has shown to be effective as a defense against the physical and mental stresses caused by cancer, which wreak havoc on one’s body and mind. Consistent with our practice’s holistic approach to medicine, we fully support and recommend the incorporation of yoga into our patients’ lifestyles.
Yoga is offered free every thursday between 12 and 1 pm to all the patients.
